** IMPORTANT VIQ ANNOUNCEMENT ***

RE: VOCATIONAL INTEREST QUESTIONAIRE (VIQ) WEBSITE UPGRADED WITH NEW NAME

As a user of the VIQ for your school or organization or as someone who has expressed interest in the VIQ, I have some important news to relay.

I am writing to you particularly in relation to the VIQ website. In keeping with new technology in advancing times, and in accord with the survey we conducted with you in late 2009, we have performed a major upgrade of the Vocational Interest Questionnaire (VIQ) service.

The upgrade allows for greater automation and autonomy on your part and also allows for the introduction of further career guidance tests.

As a result, the website address has now changed to MyFutureCareer.com.au

This replaces the previous Viq.com.au service. All future VIQ questionnaires and administration duties will be performed at MyFutureCareer.com.au. The old VIQ.com.au site will no longer be accepting new VIQs.

Importantly, all your previously un-used credits and organisation contact & administrator user information has been already transferred to the MyFutureCareer.com.au site. You do not need to create any new accounts.

However, you need to create NEW GROUPS for 2010 on the new site (even if you had active groups on the old site).

Although most of the features / processes are similar on the new site, we have created a comprehensive help document that explains everything in easy to read detail. You can download it at http://www.MyFutureCareer.com.au/help.pdf

We would ask for your cooperation and action on the following steps. As a gift to you in assisting this transition process, we have provided you with 3 free VIQs on your site to use at your leisure and at your discretion.

(1.) SAVE OLD REPORTS / INVOICES:

Old VIQ Reports (PDFs) and Invoices are NOT being copied over to MyFutureCareer.com.au from the previous VIQ.com.au system. If you have any old VIQ reports / Invoices PDFs on the VIQ.com.au website that you have not printed or saved, be sure to do this immediately, as the old VIQ.com.au website will only be available for a short time.

In particular, check if you have any UNALLOCATED REPORTS and allocate these and save / print off the reports.

The fastest way to save all reports is to produce bulk reports and class wide executive summaries on the front page of your VIQ.com.au dashboard.

(2.) LOGIN TO YOUR NEW ORGANISATION URL

To allow for the introduction of other questionnaires, your organisation URL has also changed. The website where your students complete the questionnaire and you login as an administrator
PREVIOUSLY: http://yourschoolnamehere.viq.com.au
NEW URL: http://www.MyFutureCareer.com.au/viq/yourschoolnamehere

After reading this email, we ask you to login to familiarise yourself with the new site.

(3.) NOTE YOUR NEW LOGIN DETAILS

We are no longer using 'usernames' on MyFutureCareer.com.au. Instead, login to your organisation url with
EMAIL: *** the email address previously registered on VIQ.com.au ***
PASSWORD: *** the password previously being used on VIQ.com.au ***

If you need to, it is easy to change your password and email address. Simply login to your organisation dashboard and go to the "admin users" section.

(4.) CREATE NEW GROUPS FOR 2010

Even if you have active groups for 2010 on the old VIQ.com.au site you need to create groups on the new MyFutureCareer.com.au site in order for the new site to work. You can do this easily by logging into the dashboard with the details above.

(5.) CHECK YOUR CURRENT VIQ CREDIT BALANCE

The VIQ credit balance below was copied over to the new site on Monday 22/03/10. Any further credits used at the old VIQ.com.au after this date will eventually be deducted from your credit balance on the new site.

(6.) CHECK YOUR ORGANISATION'S SETTINGS AND DETAILS

Please check your organisation details copied into the new system are still accurate. You can update these settings any time by logging into your organisation dashboard.
